This is the 218 th issue of kasarabada.org .
This week we bring the 7th chapter of Balakanda in Ramayana with Sanskrit text in three different scripts Devanagari , Telugu and Kannada . We also have the 7th Chapter in Telugu katha form as well as in the English story form.
Chapter 6 was about King Dasaratha himself . The Chapter 7 is about Dasaratha's ministers , how ably they supported the king in the statecraft.
Earlier we added some information about our visitors to our website. we are presenting the same.
Our website is visited by readers from 220 cities worldwide , in about 50 countries.
The top nine countries with highest session duration ( average time spent on the site !! ) - Qatar and Taiwan head the list and India is the ninth ranked country !!
The top 10 countries in terms of number of pages accessed in one session - that list would be headed by Germany ( 7 pages) followed by Qatar (6 pages) and Saudi Arabia ( 5 pages ) and India does not figure in the top 10 countries !!
India with 2.66 pages average per session ranks 13th behind Australia and Oman !!
The top 20 cities in in terms of no of pages accessed per session there are six Indian cities in that list.
The list however is topped by a visitor from Brambleton ( Virginia, USA ) who accessed average 57 pages in four sessions!! We have to assume that he went through the ninety chapters of our Dasama Skandha and the sixty eight chapters of Sundarakanda ! We are definitely very pleased that somebody found it interesting enough !!
The second city with the largest no of pages viewed per session is .. an Indian city - Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The visitors from Visakhapatnam viewed average 15 pages during this month visits. Kasarabada family members do have strong roots in Visakhapatnam ! So we are delighted that people who may be knowing the Kasarabadas are visiting the site !! We thank the visitors from Vishakhapatnam !!
Again listing the cities in terms of amount of time spent on the site there are six Indian cities in top 20 cities worldwide. Top three cities in terms of amount of time spent on this site are US based. Top most is our favorite "Brambleton" who spent a whopping average of 105 minutes per session !!
If we are to list cities with largest no of visits during the month the top ten cities are all Indian cities , led by Bangalore with (124) visitors followed by Hyderabad , Mumbai , Chennai, and Delhi !! There after Visakhapatnam , Vijayawada, Pune and Kakinada form the top 10 cities !!

Of course all of this is based on data from Google Analytics !
We have not upgraded the website to incorporate responses so there is no possibility of online venting ! But we will be happy to receive responses, angry or otherwise ( send to : info@kasarabada.org ) . We are aware of the deficiencies and we will strive to improve

For Telugu lovers - the Samkshipta Ramayanamu in Telugu in katha form ( gadyamu) as well as with Sanskrit slokas are made available.

With this Ugadi we started a page in Telugu titled - "Subbalakshmigari Kalam loninchi" . There is also a technology change. We are adding language support so that Indian language text van easily be accepted . Readers may see a bit of not so well formatted texts on the Telugu pages. Hopefully this will be resolved.
The extracts of an old book( 1899) by an Oxford Scholar on the History of Sanskrit Literature , appeared earlier under "one more thing" !!

What is on the kasarabada.org?
For the new visitors we thought of adding a few lines on navigation , so that they may know what is available on Kasarabada.org !
We now have 89 chapters of Dasama Skandha of Bhagavatam. All these chapters (stories on Krishna) are listed by name and are available on a link on the Bhagavatam page.
We have now all 68 chapters of Sundarakanda and also complete bouquet of articles on Ramayana. These articles include "Role models from Ramayana" namely Srirama , Sita , Hanuman , Jataayu , Sabari , Bharata , Lakshmana. Apart from these there were some special articles namely The Message of Ramayana , Going to the Forests and about Hanuman in "In the thick of the Battle " . Along the same lines are the earlier articles in praise of Hunuman 1 , Hanuman 2 and Valmiki Sundarakanda . Added to this bouquet is the Sundarakanda as a Telugu poem by Pandit Vijayraghavrao. We have also added some downloads specifically for the Samkshipta Sundarakanda ( with Sanskrit slokas) reproduced in different language scripts namely Sanskrit , Telugu , Kannada and Malayalam . There is also a Telugu Sundarakanda Katha for those interested in reading the same as a prose story !!,.
One more thing is a page where we get articles which could be on anything , informative and educative handled with a light heart and a touch of contemporary realities. The page lists all the earlier stories on its page
Athato Brahma Jignyasaa . This page is focused on Indian Philosophy /Darsanas. This has been started some time ago and all its earlier issues are listed on its page
